The Antics

Original members Luke Meisenbacher and Josh Reitan started the band in 2009 under the name Swimming with Piranhas but later changed it to The Antics in an effort to simplify. In November 2012, The Antics released their debut album Running Faster. Since then, the band has continued putting out music independently alongside producer and sound engineer, Bob Both (James Brown). Their latest album Sweet Vermouth (November 2018) is a special milestone for the band, as it’s their first release to heavily feature synthesizer. A deep-rooted love for post-punk music is what connects the band members, but they take influenced from a wide array of artists including: Echo & The Bunnymen, The Doors, and Tom Waits.
